About Laurie Dupar, PMHNP, RN, PCC, CPCC

Along with being a Certified Professional ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Coach and Mentor, I have over twenty-five years experience working in the mental wellness field. This background, experience and education provide me with a working knowledge of the neurobiology, psychopharmacology and treatments associated with AD/HD.
Professionally, I have always been passionate about my work surrounding ADHD. Personally, several of my family members have been diagnosed with the disorder. Seven years ago I created the Change of Focus Coaching Program because I believe that ADHD is a very real challenge for many people and that the treatment and solutions for ADHD challenges should be no more mysterious or unattainable than for people with other natural health disorders.
Currently I coach people of all ages living with ADHD. Working with clients of all ages, provides me with the perspecitve of how ADHD affects individuals accross the lifespan. Young students benefit from the opportunity to learn skills and strategies that will minimize common challenges of adults with ADHD. Adults living with ADHD benefit from the ongoing research and treatment options aimed mostly at younger populations. My clients include families with students, couples, adolescents, young adults, college students, parents and grandparents. I feel blessed and privileged to be able to combine my professional experience and my master’s level education as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with my passion for coaching and offering hope to people living with ADHD.
I live in the beautiful sunny Sacramento, California area with my husband of 23 years, my four teenage children and our menagerie of pets!
